Business Admin Apprentice receives special recognition award
Compassion in Action’s Business Administration Apprentice has received a special recognition award.
Chloe Gilligan, 17, was presented with a glass trophy in acknowledgement of her overall work ethic by the charity’s CEO and its trustees.
“This award recognises Chloe’s hard work, initiative in designing documents, and her taking full control of delivery and collections, as well as organising our function room bookings,” said Val Allen, President of Compassion in Action.
“We are so proud of Chloe and will have no hesitation in offering her a full-time post once her apprenticeship is completed.”
Chloe is currently studying for an NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin at the Queen’s Award-winning charity, which was founded in 2006.
She said: “I am delighted – and I feel really proud of myself. I didn’t take the summer holidays off when I finished school. I left on the Friday and started work here on the Monday – committing to early starts which not everyone my age would do. I am even happier because I am helping my nan and the charity that she founded and really cares about.”
